I filled for divorce and my ex agrees on everything and signed all the papers and we filed everything with the court in 2 weeks. Yesterday he told me, he received the request to enter default from me -the petitioner, and the default is not entered because it says " premature". What does this mean? What should he do?
Why the divorce clerk would return the request to enter a default as premature?

A default judgment is when the other person does not answer the original petition and you file for the judge to answer without their reponse.
