What is the occupation of the person who reads wills when people die?

      It could be two different people.

      Can be the solicitor, who has the will.
      or
      The person who was appointed "power of attorney" to the will and whoms sole responsibility is to disperse that assets according to the will.

      If you have power of attorney, you can just pick the will up, from the solicitor. The solcitor will not have to read it, except for estabishing who you are and that u are the assigned power of attorney.

      In other curcumstances. The solicitor is appointed power of attorney, depending on the trust basis, they had with the deceased.
