Spiritually Thinking: Is the world a lump of clay in God's hands to be fashioned as He wills?

How does this principle apply to us in our daily lives?

Jeremiah 18:5-12– Jeremiah brings before our minds one of the most beautiful lessons, illustrating divine sovereignty and human freedom, to be found in the Bible. It shows the relation of human will to the movement of divine power.

He says , verse 6," O house of Israel, cannot I do with you as the potter? saith Jehovah.

ahhh yes… we see how the Lord expresses wonder at the passion Judah has for idolatry, and then he passes his judgment…

The most important message God has for us, each of us, for me, is a message of grace brother! So Lord help us all, to receive this message deep within our hearts, and willingly be the lump so softened that He, our Living God can rework us, and make us good.

God is always, always, ready to begin anew in us. We must surrender our passions, our lives, for in the end, we learn from these passages of scripture, that God can and will do what He chooses.

He wants us to be good vessels, and we must be willing to be changed, as workable clay in his hands…. allowing ourselves to flow in his patterns…

Too frequently we have all resisted the potters efforts to form us into the Vizion, he has for us, and yet, in His love and grace, he must squeeze us again into a lump and begin again… So yes, I am willing… I have those oracles of God touching my very being! His call, never far, his love dear!

      Lovingly
      Kar

God will do whatever He will do, with the world, it is His… afterall… and bless the person ~s… who thumbed this down, for it means that God indeed is working! LOL! :))

      The world? No.
      The individual? Yes.

The world as a whole is under the effects of sin. While God is in control of all, right now, satan is the ‘prince of this world’.

John 12:31 Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out.

John 14:30 Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.

John 16:11 Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged

1John 4:3 And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
