I think they only do it once…suicide is not really something you can do very often.

      I don’t know, but I hope it’s a very small amount.

I’m not even going to touch the male/female preference.

Usually only ‘once’,… that’s all it takes. I’m sure it could be either one, depending on the level of love lost for each one. It’s a devastating tear into one’s soul.

It’s too hard to cope with life without their man. they depended on him for so many things and now he’s gone. Besides that is the emotional support they need. The marriage was so bad it left them emotionally a mess and then they had a whole new life to adjust to besides. Too much!!!

In the United States, UK and Denmark, the suicide rate fluctuates around 32 percent among divorcees. Men are 4 times more likely to succeed in suicide after divorce than women. More whites than blacks. More old than middle aged. Young slightly more than middle aged. Relaxation of divorce laws have contributed to increasing suicides.

      Why?

Because, all too often, people believe that their mate is going to provide them some salvation. When this doesn’t happen, there is disappointment.
