Do wills become public documents in Maine?

How can I see my grandma’s and great aunt’s will. They passed away when I was a minor and I was never allowed to see their will. They passed away more than 15 years ago. Do wills get filed somewhere, are tehy public records, just curious. This all happened in Maine. Thanks!

Wills get filed in the county or city where the probate office is for the county or city they lived in is. They are public records as soon as they are filed for probate.
